Do you know the causes of thrush if its left for along time untreated?
I have it in my guts ,intestines, bladder and bowels also recently my throat and tongue.
I went to see my gp but she didnt understand it she thought it can only be in the vagina.
She gave me some tablets but these didn't work.
Now i am underweight because the thrush is eating all my nutrients and i feel ill most of the time.
I've felt this way for 6 years and rarely leave the house because i feel so bad.
I don't want to see my gp as she didnt understand my problem last time.
I have 2 small kids and a husband that loves me very much and this has ruined my life.
Does anyone know of any treatment avaliable for this kind of thing? Or any advice would be great.
Thanks xxxx

oh you really sound like you are going through hell!
I'm No expert but I used to suffer from it and i also know of someone who had a case of the same intensity as you
She took something called Nystatin which seemed to do the trick she also gave it to her son who was born with in through-out his body as she was pregnant with him at the time
If you also go onto the net there are diets you can follow they may help other products are Diflucan and Threelac
Please don't take this the wrong way but it would also be a very wise idea if your husband was tested as many men can carry this and have no effects but continue to re-infect their partners it can also live in the anus so its very important to 'wipe the right way' so to speak good luck and I wish you freedom from this all consuming yeast infection ( also known as candida)

You must get another doctor to help you! How do you know that it is in your internal organs? Did the first doctor you saw that did not understand too much about it diagnose you with having thrush in your internal organs or is this an assumption on your part? You HAVE TO get a second opinion and some help with this. If it is affecting your quality of life, and it sounds like it is, you have to be treated for this. As far as the thrush in your mouth, try plain or organic yogurt. Rinse your mouth out with the yogurt several times a day. You can spit it out or swallow it and swallowing it may actually be a good thing if, indeed, you have thrush throughout your intestinal tract and internal organs. This is bizarre, but if you have this I am quiet sure others have, too. Ya know? I mean, you cannot possibly be the only person to have this. You also need to have lab work done to see if you are anemic or have any other problems going on that are making you feel so crummy. Good luck and God bless you. Please, for your sake and for the sake of your family and especially your kids, go to another doctor. Now!!! If you can see one today then go today. Do not put this off one more second.

Sorry but I am a man. Have you been on anti-biotic treatment lately that can often cause throat thrush?. Thrush can basically live in moist dark places that is a perfect breeding ground. My g/f use to suffer terrible vaginal thrush and she tried canisten etc no good. Eat plenty of thick natural Greek yogurt. To clear it up down below apply some yogurt to a tampon and insert it. You must stick with it but the live bacteria in yogurt will dissipate the thrush. Kind Regards Dirky

Try getting some Grapefruit seed extract from a Health shop (liquid not tablet form), take five drops twice a day with a little fruit juice for about a week. This will kill off the excess flora in your gut. It tastes aw ful but keep at it. Then take a supplement such as acidophilus, this will restock your good bacteria. Also cut down on sugar - this feeds the yeast.

My wife suffered from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and this was the best treatment we ever found. The base cause of her condition was fairly similar to yours and having a try at this will only take a week or two to see of it helps you. Our GP was no help!!

I know you asked for ladies only, but this may help.

hey! It sounds like you may have systemic yeast. It can affect the whole body and make you very sick. It can show itself as thrush in the mouth(white patches on tongue and gums and back of throat)or vaginal infection(cottage cheese looking stuff), or in esophagus, stomach, etc. Look up yeast infections and/or systemic yeast on the web.
