my neighbor is a friggin pig. and hes a newer addition to the neighborhood . We never had this kind of problem from anyone but the city workers and they dont do it that often. This makes twice this week that he has come outside at an extremely early time to do this crap like he doesnt give a poo about anyone else who may still be asleep. I wish there was something that could be done, i dont see talking to him as making any difference as he seems the type of ****** who would agree to stop then wake up even earlier just to piff me off.

Ask him to stop once and then call the police the next time. That is ridiculous.

You may try talking to him. He may not realize that he is bothering anyone. If you talk to him and he still starts the early am noise than atleast you can say you tried to talk to him and you can go on from there.

One time I had a lot to get done in a day and I mowed the lawn at 6:45 am not even thinking about it. My husband had already left for work (it was a Saturday but he works early and any day of the week) and I was up and about. Later when he got home I was telling him about my day and mentioned that I mowed when he left for work. Then he made me see how silly that was. I was not even thinking about it. I was not trying to be a jerk but I am sure the neighbors were probably not happy with me. I never did it again.

Perhaps you could talk to a few other neighbors and see how they feel and then all approach this insensitive garden slug and ask him to wait until a reasonable hour to do his house and garden work. Keep things friendly.

Not willing to take the face to face approach? Maybe someone could type up a "polite" letter explaining that there are small children and older people in the neighborhood and could all noisy home and garden work please not begin until after "set an hour" . End the note with a "thank you for your understanding and cooperation". Worth a try!

If this doesn't work - you can call your local police and ask if there are any laws in your town concerning noise.

Good luck!

I am a City worker and have been for two cities. Most cities have a noise ordinance that you cannot start any type of work that causes noise in the morning until a certain time. That goes for us city workers also. I know the city I currently work for is 7:30am.. Check with the city on this.

By 6:30 the day is all ready half over. My neighbors all know I am an early riser 3:30 and the don't mind my working outdoors at 6:00 but none of us are lazy we don't sleep our lives away. And if one of us is out there working in the morning chances are ALL of us end up helping the other out.

THAT IS HOW NEIGHBORS TREAT EACH OTHER

I get up early myself-but I always wait till 7-

Hammering and sawing at 6:30 isn't ok, but mowing and landscaping is acceptable as it must be done EVERY 5-7 days. We can't expect our neighbors to disregard the scorching heat of midday in the summer... unless my neighbor's willing to mow my lawn in 100 degree sun, I'd get started at 7 am.. ahhh the cool breeze

I totally relate but suggest this,,,, Take a DEEP Breath.

On a serious note there may be ordinances you can research regarding this issue. It may be that you connect with other neighbors to discuss and resolve this? It may be that no real attack be planned, but a show of force (Meaning numbers involved) may convince HIM of what you all consider, inconsiderate abuses?

Your beliefs are pretty much unsubstantiated still, since you haven't made the effort to communicate the issues to HIM, and you may be surprised?

There are usually city ordinances that set the times where you gotta keep the noise down. Check online or call the Police and ask them. After that go ask the guy to please wait until later to do his noisy stuff. If that doesn't work, cut yours at 12-1 AM (see how he likes it)

Yes! There may even be a noise ordinance in effect until, say, 8 AM.

I would try to talk to him, but if you really feel it won't work, call the police (NOT on the 911 line) and ask them.

Good luck.

no I even have under no circumstances mowed a backyard in the previous surely. I even have constantly had somebody to do it for me, so my widespread ingredient is to...... watch the nice and cozy sweaty backyard guy mowing the grass and reducing the hedges. that's in all likelihood my widespread ingredient. exterior of my family members
