Most players let you make a play list and it will play the tracks in the order you put them in, provided the "random" option isn't selected.

I rename the tracks in order, have them start with the track number (01, not 1, mind you). Then I add them in order, rearranging if I have to, to the player.
Myself, except for a few soundtracks (e.g., Phantom of the Opera), i prefer shuffle, but there are ways to play things in order.
