Its the one with two horizontal lines on it.

one is dash (-) and the other is underscore (_)

To get a dash you press the key to get an underscore you press the key whilst holding down "shift".

On my keyboard the key is next to the zero key which has zero ("0") and (")") on it

actually, the key next to the zero includes a hyphen and the underscore. to get a dash, you have to press the hyphen key twice, with no spaces between it. A hyphen is used to separate a woman's last name, like Susan Miller-Jones. A dash is used as a pause in the middle of a sentence, like I went to my favorite restaurant--Olive Garden--to get dinner. In any word processing program, the 2 hyphens would actually be joined to make a longer line, but apparently yahoo doesn't recognize some forms of punctuation.

it's the same as a hypen or a minus sign. It is located on the key between the number 0 and the equals sign = on the main keyboard, or above the + sign on the numerical keypad.
