Cycling
The simple reason why bicycling is associated to infertility is because blood cells are said to be damaged due to continues contact of the scrotum and the seat. Especially mountain biking is associated with constant bumps due to rugged terrain. This affects the area from the scrotum to the anus. This sport can affect the cells and the nerves that help erection.
Inherited ( low sperm count heredity causes)
One may even inherit the low sperm disorder. But these genetic disorders have a reason too. Below mentioned are a few of the causes:
Environment
When one is exposed to toxins, softening chemicals, DDT it can directly affect the functions of the testicles or the hormone system.
Metals/Radiation
Also metals like cadmium, arsenic or lead can reduce sperm production in healthy males too. Radiation and x-rays exposure affect cells that rapidly divide. Sperms are very sensitive to these and thus reduce in number. It can take up to 2 years to resume to normal production but sometimes the effect can be so damaging that normalcy is never attainted.
Nevertheless you can always improve sperm count
Temporary sperm count can reduce by excessive cycling, exposure to heat, insomnia, stress – physical & emotional and ill-fitting briefs. However these temporary reasons have a remedy:
Exercise
Regular exercise helps reduce stress and also gains overall healthiness. But excessive exercise can cause harm. Preferably relaxation exercises wards off all kinds of stress. As estrogen and testosterone levels are related to weight exercise helps you keep the right weight.
Body temperature
Excessive exposures to heat like sauna, hot bath channels to low sperm count. Hence, keep away from heaty articles and also from heavy metals.
Medical aid to improve sperm count
Men with low sperm count are asked to give in a sample of the first drops of ejaculation for artificial insemination. As the first drops are said to contain most of the sperm.
You should twice before placing a laptop on your lap - the laptop can raise the temperature inside your testicles by three degrees celcius and seriously lower your sperm count.
Yefim Sheynkin, State University of New York at Stony Brook, said "Some people don't use laptops on their laps, but a lot of young men, or boys, have all these wireless services and they do use them on their laps to play games or do all sorts of things. This is a continuous heat exposure. In 10 or 20 years, when they try to have a family, they might have problems,"
You can read about this study in the journal Human Reproduction.
Eventually, say the researchers, a habitual male user of laptops could become infertile (if the computer is on his lap every time he uses it).
Dr. Sheynkin said males should place the laptop on a desk. Anywhere, except on the man's or boy's lap.
Male sperm counts in Western countries have been dropping for the last twenty years.

Why that?
The average quantity is within 1,5 -3 ml. and it’s more important to verify the spermatozoa number and vitality rather than the quantity.
Then there are rare cases (alike myself, for example) that get exaggerate quantity… but there’s no benefit aside from sexual pleasure.
When it’s out average (low sperm cells), there is some specific drug or hormone useful to increase the spermatozoa number too, but only urologists can prescribe such drugs.
