me and my mate are looking at entering this world famous event and I am just wondering if it'd be worth doing this or not?
and if so what sort of car should we be using, Australian/British or Japanese cars please.

Go for it and do it in a Holden, but if you see anyone with a second head on his/her shoulder, go faster.

This contest is on roads right? If so use a HOLDEN Manaro GT all wheel drive 6.0L of raw horsepower six speed transmission use 9 inch wide SSR gt2 WHEELS ALL AROUND WITH 265/30/18 inch Bridgstone Pontenza RE010 tires

The cars that do well are generally the all wheel drive rally type cars. Yes it's all sealed roads.

John Paul, it's "Monaro" and NO we don't have an all wheel drive. rear wheel drive just like yours. The only difference is the steering wheel is on the correct side.
