I mean, will there ever be a time when an "oppressed" group of people will finally say, "Hey, We are alright now. We aren't oppressed anymore. Thanks!"
Will people who get special treatment (to make up for past treatment) ever be willing to give up that treatment?

Let's go the other way. When the now "oppressed" are in the driver's seat and the old oppressors are the new oppressed, will there be special benefits for them?

Good question! Some one will always be complaining that they are not being treated right.

It will take another decade to even think of such a possibility.Till the politics takes a back seat it will not be possible even to think of "oppressed" group saying anything in those lines. Why should the oppressed give up the trump card? They are getting special treatment by using the term oppressed. As long as the politicians and politics change drastically its not possible at all.

No. It is human nature, I think to always want more, regardless of what it is we want. More money, happiness, job satisfaction. When an "oppressed" group do not get what they want they have the ability to dredge up the past and blame their current problems on someone else. Regardless of the fact that their "oppression" may have taken place 100s of years ago.

no, We can never be compleately treated equal, almost impossible in my opinion. You are always going to have some lame *** saying that he's not, just to get someone free or sue.
And also what country are you referring too?

equality will never happen. So the question is pointless because its like saying "What will mars look like when we go there for a holiday?"
