Thrift, resale, consignment - I buy 99% of my clothing from those stores. And I'm considered to be a very well-dressed person.

I don't personally do so - mainly because I do not have the time, but a good friend does and she picks up incredible buys for herself and friends. She has found designer clothes (the the labels and tags still intact) on never worn items. If you have the time and patience you can discover some real treasures.

Also, if clever, you can find well made things that just need minor repairs. Or great replacement items. I needed a replacement carafe for my drip coffee maker and didn't want to pay $12 for a new one. Found one for $1 and it has been perfect!

Nice thing is, you are getting a great deal and you are helping a good cause.

Sure i do...:) i have found so many mane brands at these stores too. we have a place her i shop at the most. it is caled "Nice As New". it's a consignment shop, and those who have dropped of their clothes will get a portion of that back, most are using this money to help with charity's all around the area and outward. Cool, i buy clothes, the money gets donated...i like the sound of that...:) not to mention, it's the cheepest way to find name brand prices at practually the cost of nothing...:)

Yes I shop there. The key is to wash the stuff before you wear it in hot water, just in case. Lots of people donate to there as well, including me.
