If someone marries for money, only because she is pregnant, wants someone to take care of the kids, wants to get out of the house, is rebounding another recent relationship, marries a wealthy family name, wants to stop working, thinks marriage is going to make them happy, and thinks that life is going to be better because of marriage, all of these are the WRONG reasons to get married.

I think if you have to ask that question, you already have a clue. But some things to notice are: Do they listen to you when you talk? Had they told you previously that they didn't want to marry you and now they are alright with it? When you two are around friends and family, does the person talk about how sweet, wonderful, adorable you are or do they talk about the wedding plans?

If you have any reason to question it, you're probably right! Don't go through with it just to keep the peace. Your sanity is worth it in the long run. You'd hate to be a divorcee because you were afraid to stand up and question your feelings. Good luck!

Feel it in your heart. Ask the right questions. How long have you been together? Does he/she act like they are with you for the wrong reasons? Do you feel it is right ? Always follow your heart, and think about why you are asking this question. It could be your mind's way of telling you there are problems you need to deal with. I would suggest pre-marital counseling. Good Luck and I hope everything works out for you.

p.s. Remember that everything happens for a reason.

you wont necessarily know....
you may need to weigh things up carefully...
what is in it for you?
what is in it for them?
who has the most to lose by
a) getting married?
b) not getting married?
it really is impossible to tell but listen to people who know you both... if you have a close dear friend who cares about you and says this person's heart is in the wrong place... at least hear your freiind out and weigh it into your thought processes...

be careful... take your time.. and if you are feeling pressured into marrying.. then stop the process.. and wait..

Best of Luck

I would say you could tell from their actions &
how they treat you. Love is patient, kind, understanding
& respecting if this person is not like this w/ you then
they probably don't love you .

hope things work out & good luck
