Personally, I think people should have to be at least 20 years old before they can have a baby, but 25 would be a more ideal age. I see so many cases of "kids having kids" these days and I feel so sorry for the children. I speak from experience because I was 18 when I had my first baby, and I know now that I was far too young. I thought I knew what I wanted then, but doesn't everyone at that age? I'm 33 now and have 2 children, 15 and 7, and while I feel that I have been a pretty good parent to my 15 year old, there are a lot of things I have done differently in raising my 7 year old. My life was very unsettled up until I was 25, and as a result my oldest child experienced a lot of instabilities as she was growing up. I know it has had a profound affect on who she is today, and I believe that the more mature parent that I am for my youngest child would have been there for my daughter in ways that I never was. I just hadn't lived life long enough to know what was truly important in raising a child, and even though I am a better parent now, I can't get those years back that she has lost. I honestly think that people don't know who they are or what they want in life until they are at least 20 or 25, so why bring a child into a world where you still haven't completely "found" yourself?

I think in the matter of teenage mothers there should be an age limit!!!! Way too many kids are getting pregnant and ruining their life and living off government benefits which comes from tax payers money because they think by having children they can live off the benefits they receive and never be useful to society!
I think that the age limit should be 18 year old to have a child.
Only then are you starting to realise the consequences and responsibilities that you are in for.

I think you are talking about artificial insemination here. If a woman aged 60 decides to fly to Switzerland to get eggs put in her womb, that is up to her. Perhaps odd for the child, at 15, mummy is an old lady, but I was very content during the long time I spent with my grandparents and would happily have stayed there.
At the other end of the scale, can we stop 13 and 14 year old girls giving birth? Probably not.

I don't think there should be an age limit. That's stupid. If a woman wants and can have a baby she should feel free to, no matter her age.

It depends on the parent I would say. If you want to see grand children from your baby, don't have a baby at 50. Some people define happiness by raising children and have them still living in their house after they retire. If she can conceive at whatever age so be it. Age is a matter of the mind, if you don't mind it doesn't matter.

I think if you have other children and they are starting to talk about children of their own, then you are too old to raise a grandchild and child at the same time. If it's your first, go for it, it's never to late if you are able to do it. Definatelty the writer above is right, 18 should be the minimum so at least they have an education or trade.

hay acc. to my thinking the Age will be not more than 50 years.
Because after it both have a risk.(a mother & a baby).
& after it the thinking of the baby & father & mother also not be same & a great mishappen will be held.
this is only my thinking.
