Under section 8/B of Hudood Ordinance, rape victim requires to produce four adult male Muslim eyewitnesses, therefore non-Muslim do not qualify. In section 04 of the ordinance, if the rape victim is unable to bring the required number of eyewitnesses, she is automatically accused of adultery.

The Hudood Ordinances, introduced by Zia-ul-Haq, punish women instead of providing them safety against rape crimes. Ultimately, women suffer since these laws offer no safeguards to them.

However, when the present President Parvez Musharraf just mentioned that he wanted to remove such clauses from the ordinance; MMA and all other Islamic groups protested saying this was human interference with "Gods commands (Shariah)"

i examine up on the 4 male witnesses too. this is kindda unwell. this is like they wanna determine noone's falsely accusing each physique, yet once you're in simple terms suspected of raping somebody, you're especially much a god. like, oh undesirable guy getting accused of raped, there have been no longer any witnesses.stupid ****. maximum rapes do no longer contain any witness. so the female is almost charged with fake accusations and meaning bussiness... in simple terms cuz she will't convey 4 male witness. and that they are in a position to't be woman cuz they think of girls persons would stick at the same time. the terror of girls persons those worldwide places have is ridiculous, they actually think of giving women persons rights potential women persons taking on the rustic and use adult males as donkeys.

Yes, The Muslim laws discriminate against women.
It is true that 4 male witnesses are required to prove a rape. Otherwise, she would be punished for adultery.

Now, there is a move to amend this rule. The amendment, if passed, requires that anyone who accuses a woman of adultery, has to produce four witnesses. Those convicted of gang-rape will be sentenced to death and it will be a crime to publish the address of a rape victim,

Pakistan is the most fcuked place on the face of this earth. So frankly, I wouldn't be surprise if they require 4 adult males or 8 or even 25. It makes no difference. Nothing surprises me about this god-forsaken place.
