Since gender roles have changed considerably, my question is what are the roles of a husband and what are the roles of a wife? I don't mean doing the dishes and the laundry kinda stuff...I mean in regards to support and love and etc?

The roles of the husband and wife never change according to what God established, even though the times have. The husband is the overall provider. He is the one to go forth and make sure the house is running. Our roles as wives is to maintain what has been established. We are to support our husbands and help our husbands because they have alot of responsibility. This may sound old fashion, but old fashion marriages tend to have more longevity than marriages now. It's okay to be who you are and enjoy the things you like, but when you become married, there's no independence or complete dependence...there should be interdependence which means you both know your strengths but you also know that you are stronger together.

There are no roles in marriage. As a married couple you figure out what works best for you and your other half. A marriage is a partnership on almost everything except for having the baby. Sorry man cant give birth but they should be helping in every way possible.

Take out the division of labor around the house and your roles are very similar. My memory is Love, Honor and Cherish. Yes, they ditched the obey part. I'll never forgive that part( joke).
You get my point. Gender has little to do with that. There were no
instructions that either one of us were to be the worker or subserviant. The vow was Love, Honor, Cherish.

Each partner should wake up daily and think what can I do today to help my mate have a great day. It really works.

THERE'S NO RULES WHEN IT COMES TO THAT ..
IF THEY LOVE YOU THEY WILL WANT TO DO WHAT EVER IT TAKES TO MAKE YOU HAPPY.. AND ALWAYS BELIEVE IN ONE ANOTHER AND NEVER GIVE UP ON THE LOVE YOU TWO SHEAR.. IT'S VARY HARD TO GET TO THAT POINT IN A RELATIONSHIP BUT JUST DON'T GIVE UP OVER SOME STUPID FIGHT..
