Love. I love my fellow human beings, and animals, and plants, so I don't really want to hurt them, especially needlessly. One can say, love of God, or faith, but I think it's more love for the creation, with me.

A mixture of those things. We are all have some fears that the results of our decisions might not be a positive one and will have a significantly bad effect in our lives. Our faith or even our conscience remind us on the consequences of our actions. And sometimes we just want to feel superior to others. So we do good or bad things based on what will make us feel better.

Absolutely nothing! If I want to do something I will do it, obviously I would love to have loads of money but I would never rob a bank to get it because I won't break the law but anything else if I want to do it then I will. I always try and make the right choices now because in the past I have made a lot of bad ones. I try not to be scared of anything. A positive attitude helps me make the right decisions now whereas in the past I was pretty negative and made a lot of bad choices.

faith and fear is kinda the same, if your faith is stopping you from being immoral it is because of the fear of retribution as a result of your faith.
Religion works by creating fear, fear of hell, of unpeace, bad karma whatever.
People naturally strive to beat people, you could aslo ask whether Jealousy stops you making bad choices, as you would be jealous of those who have what they do as a result of good choices.
Fancy could also be seen as competition, you create your choices for a better result than your competitors in life!
You can also ask what makes you make bad choice's stupidity, relgion, compition, pride fancy, fear.
What you are really asking is what motives pull you/push you through life? Which are a result of your education, socialisation, religiousity, upbringing, peers, enviorment, etc

Probably fear, as you would fear the consequences from the choices you make! Also how other people do things or go about things can have an effect on you. If you were hungry you would have to eat at some stage WOULDNT YOU OR YOU WOULD FEAR YOU'D STARVE.

I usually do what I want without feeling guilty at the end. Though certain things I will not partake in because of my morals, or lack there of! =)
