AKU have you got anything else like PEN-DRIVE or other device pluged in your USB port? If answer is yes then you must remove them before you boot your PC. If not then check your HDD Cable, also check your BIOS for setting.

that means that its not booting off of your hard drive like it should. to fix this problem you can do 1 of 3 things: 1) if you know a decent about computers, go into 'bios' and click it, thats your system bios, and occationally it will kick itself off of that, tell it to run off of that, instead of ignoring it. 2) a system restore- you should have a disk about it, insert taht disk in, and should work. or (as a last resort) 3)re-format your computer- burn/save everythng you want to keep as files-than go into your window (by pressing F1 while it starts up) than select the correct button- or you can take it to a comp shop, tho that'll cost you a decent amount of money plus labor charge

hmm... the error appears in DOS right?

I suspect your harddisk boot sector could be corrupted.

This could be a hardware problem and it lies on the harddisk.

You can change another hdd cable and try again.

Else you can hook the hdd to another working PC and do a harddisk scan to confirm the problem.

It sounds like you have a bad cable going to the hard drive. Replace the cable you unplug and see if that helps.

hey it can be lots of things
first IDE cables

fourth BIOS

normally its your hard drive but dosent mean its faulty hard. check your boot priorities, maybee evan load defaults
back up and remove first track of HDD
you can just do control ALT delete should boot next boot

hope it helps
