Well it all depends what kinda restuarant you going to?

Ask the waiter/waitress what he/she recommends, and they will probably give the most popular dish thats ordered in that restuarant!

Hey and....
Enjoy your lunch

Are you talking about simple foods to eat so you don't spill on yourself or look bad? I worry about that too. Don't order pasta or a messy sandwich like a hamburger. Salads can get kind of messy too if the restaurant soaks it in dressing. Order something you have to cut and eat and that will be easier. It will stay on your fork and you will be able to eat neatly and talk to your office mates and boss.

If you like to keep it simple order salad or a quick round of soup. This way you don't need any spirits afterwards. If you have time get some steak and a potatoe sidedish, it's as simple as food can get, and, if made right, it tastes pretty good. Don't order burgers for they are quick to leak sauce or other toping. Don't order fries that you must eat with your hands. Don't drink too much alcohol. Have good table manners. Enjoy.

It depends on your objective and the menu. Do you want others to know you better as social or a career-minded? Try to order something you know and like but do not take too much time to chew and finish – in case others are fast eaters and you want to talk in between bites. It happened to me one. My boss was such a fast eater that he finished his meal before my third bite. Try to stay away from high maintenance foods such as hamburgers, escargot … remember Juila Roberts in “Pretty Woman”? Enjoy the experience!

Maybe just a salad if you don't want to spend too much. I like to order a grilled chicken breast and a dinner salad. That is very filling and not too expensive. It depends on who is paying and what type of restaurant. There are specials for certain times of day at certain restaurants, you might choose one of those.

If the restaurant have a set menu for lunch, that makes one simple option.

I'm agreeing with Jazz on this one. Ask the server or the cook and you'll get a popular recommendation.

It depends on the mood of your boss........
you should ask first what would your boss prefer....
then if he agrees with the majority then a lot more fine........
But it would be hard if your boss will be very choosy.......
The cest thing you must do is to ask............
