There is no birth control that won't "mess up" your periods in some way.. except for a condom.
All types of female birth control are made of artificial hormones, and every body reacts differently. The pill, the basic 28 day pill has a predictable pattern in which it actually makes your period more regular.
Depo-Provera ( the shot you get 4 times a year) has a predictable pattern of eliminating your period.
While all these patterns are predicatable ( affect the majority) there are always women who react differently.
Talk to your doctor, and tell him what you are looking for in a birth control method. He will be the best person to help you.

the bleeding which occurs when u take pills is not like normal menstruation, but episode of uterine bleeding from an incompletely formed endometrium caused by withdrawl of exogenous harmones/pills. therefore this is also called WITHDRAWL BLEEDING rather then normal mensturation.
the blood loss which occurs in this case is half that occurring in a women having ovulatory cycle. if the bleeding dose not occur the lady is asked to start the 2nd. cycle one week after the preceding one.
normally the flow is lesser in time n amount if one uses pills as a mode of contraception

For every menstrual cycle, from day 1 to day 10, take 1/2 tsp turmeric powder in 1 tsp of honey, as soon as you get up in the morning. Now 1st day may not start in morning, so as soon as cycle wets, take turmeric powder in honey. This is most harmless birth control adopted by tribals in india. and this method works, does not affect regularity of cycles. All it does is it makes ovum less potent for fertilization. And when yu want to conceive, stop taking turmeric. at that time ask and some other herb for making ovum stronger will be told!!!
