I had a global express package sent to me from the US on the 28th of July, and have been checking the tracking ever since. It says it went into foreign (UK) customs on July 31st, and that's the last entry. There's absolutely no contraband in there, it's a bunch of corsets for a play I'm directing which goes up next week. How long do you think I will have to wait to get them? What might the problem be? Is there anything I can do?

I used to live in the UK and can feel your pain. I've had parcels clear HM Customs in less than a day, and have had some take over 45 days. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason behind this. Efforts to track the parcels down were fruitless and the bureaucrats at HM Customs and Excise were essentially worthless. A few were rude but most could not or would not provide any status information.

Yep, take the script that shows the corsets are written in the play to customs, it might also be helpful to take the girls who will be wearing them with, oh and a small note to your favorite press person. lol
