YES
India is a peace loving country. It has handled international issues very well.Take, for instance, the Pak. issue. It doesn't jump into wars as the othr countries do though it has the resources & the right to do so.

India needs a stronger voice in the United Nations...even a seat in the Security Council with powers of veto. This veto power should no longer be only the prerogative of countries like the United Kingdom, the United States and Russia

In the near future India will be one of the global powers. If America and other western powers are having veto power, then India also deserves it. Because it doesn't lack anything comparing to the other countries and I believe that it deserves more that the other western countries. What I believe is that if India doesn't have the privilege of veto power, than the veto power of the other countries should be taken away as they are not putting it a good use.

No. I don't believe that any country should have the power of Veto including the United States where i am from. I think that Votes should be held and that the majority winners actions be carried out. If their action fails then they should be held accountable.

No. Because unfortunately, the West relies on the heavy exploitation of Indian resources (such as water, electricity, labour) and to empower Indian delegates would alleviate the West's choke hold on the region and disconcert efficient trade practices.

Yes. Only so the veto turns into more of a roadblock, and is removed. India deserves it more than France.

Nooooooooooooooooooo

This is a country that is still finding its feet.
It is ruled by a government that changes its mind, so often, on the international political stage right in front of the rest of the world.
Do you think we are silly???
