We have stopped fighting within our countries... mostly. Yet our nations were once at war, tribes against tribes, even states against states. There is continued progress toward global excellence, but many people don't see it. Why the continued lack of knowledge?

This claim that Globalization leads to world peace is not universally accepted. Some think that Globalization breaks down borders that used to seperate nationstates, and so groups of people will find identity more and more within other boundries, namely religon. Thus creating more groupls of religous fundamentalists who as we all know are not the most peaceful of people.
Wether this theory is right nor not current events definately show an increase in religous extremist groups possibly as a responce to the ever increasing influx of American culture and values. Believe it or not some groups of people dont want our pop-culture and the negative aspects that come with it.
Its an interesting question though...

Globalization itself has pros and cons. Usually, the small business tend to benefit less. It is more beneficial to big companies who can afford to expand their business. Nothing is truely beautiful...Everything has it angry side. It depends on which angle you view it.
