no she isn't dumb but her sister is
i mean i have no real reason hate her either (Jessica Simpson)
but Her Sister Ashlee Simpson is a complete waste and a f**k up... she can't sing... so she try's to cheat her fans with lip syncing.... that just wrong to do... its funny i knew she could not sing from the beginning.... woo im am sure glad i could get that off my chest

I think Jessica Simpson is pretty but dumb. Well at least she's better than Paris Hilton though!

I think she is smart and very smart to allow her father help run her career. It's not easy to portray an empty headed blond beauty. She pulls it off very nicely.

she might not be outright that "dumb", bec. she's making tons of money and commands great attention. that must be the workings of some kind of smart.
but god, when i (try to) listen to her interviews, i always cringe. her answers are almost always off and shallow. but what do i expect from hollywood, eh? she ain't alone in that department.
