i am concerned with 13y/o-16y/o's in chat room can any thing b done about it?

well i dont think 11-15y/os should be allowed in chat rooms yesterday i accidently ran across a 13 yr old in a chat room and they said that the mother let them on there and they (child) was allowed to do anything they wanted! and i just dont believe such a child should be allowed in a chat room with grown adults even a 17yr old was siding with the 13yer old?? what is up with people these days??

What kind of chat room was this??
There are many many parents that do not supervise their children when they are on the computer to see what they are doing and what web sites they are viewing. Also if they are in a chat room the kids will say *oh I'm just chatting with some friends* but unless the parents actually sit down and read what is going on they have no idea. Many children also have computers in their own rooms or in other private areas of the home so parents don't see them often or the parents are at work while the kids are on. The kids are going to get away with what they can if they can.
With not knowing what chat room you are in can you report their name and have them banned for being underage? (if its an adult room) I do know what you mean, I go into game rooms aimed at adults for chat, we don't openly swear or talk sex but its the innuendo's (there are the uncensored rooms for open chat), and the kids still come in our rooms instead of the kids rooms - go figure.

Guess not. They killed user rooms in yahoo because of peds and kids.
Wish they would do something with the damned bots. Most rooms Ive been to lately are just bots talking to bots. It's depressing, so I gave up on them.
