My answer to your question is... yes. If they want to play on the same teams and stuff as the guys then they shouldn't be treated any different than a guy because then its unfair, and an example of this not occuring is in youth hockey. Since I am a guy I am on the guys team and we other teams with girls on them. Although, whenever I check a girl legally i get a penalty. This to me is bullsh*t because if a girl wants to play on a guys team then they should be treated no differently or to word it differently, If you can't take the heat, stay out of the kitchen. So basically, yes girls should be allowed to play all sports. Should they be allowed to play on the guys team yes. If on the guys team should they get unfair advantage like "can't be checked"? NO! Should they have a girls team for every sport, yes.

In conclusion, this is my opinion and I'm 13 and a guy if that has anything to do with it.

p.s. yes I know that checking a girl in hockey may damage certain body parts but if said girl is willing to risk the damage and play hockey with the boys then so be it.

Edit:

Honestly, I think most girls are better at most sports than I am so don't get me wrong and think that I am saying "girls suck at sports" because that is far from the truth.

I've coached girls and boys at diffrent levels girls at the high school level are smarter yet have stoped growing while boys are in fact still growing but less mature, the fact girls have wrestled in some areas and played baseball and ice hockey with boys but depending on the population of their geo area. Girls have been given a thing called Title 9 which allows girls the same chances to have sports teams as do boys, with the same funding.

Yes, if that's what they want to do! There is no longer any discrimination against women in sports, so I say go for whatever sport turns you on!

(just fyi, I am a girlie-girl but I have an expert rating in combat style handgunning, lol!)

I think -in contact sports- that girls and boys should not be on the same field - too many dangers! But there is nothing worng with girls teams and boys teams.

of course, women have the same drive as men do to be athletic. women can also be better at them than men are, but they will never be given the chance to prove that, b/c men think that they will get hurt.
