I hate Them so much that to avoid the 12th. grade one, because my mom was wanting me to go I knew my cousins were sick with chickenpox and I went to their house and spent the hole day there and , bingo! I caught the chickenpox. Extreme, I don't think so I just hate those ceremonies to death.

That's cause they are boring as hell and long, I skipped out right after my high school graduation to go watch the NBA championship my Lakers were playing (and won the championship that year, 1987) and I skipped my graduation for my Master's degree all together......I hate graduations...what's the point?

I went to University in Wales, so when I graduated we were treated to a horrendously drawn out session which included both welsh and english talking. I have never been so bored in all my life

Try to appreciate it even for your parents. Its really for them because its also their achievement to see you get your diploma on stage.
