Be Honest
Do the job to the best of your ability and continue to learn to become better at it
Don't Gossip
Arrive Early and Stay Late (if that is possible) and be working not just hanging out. But above all be punctual.
Go Above and Beyond what is expected of you in your job - do those little extras that are within your ability that are not expected (hard for me to give examples when I don't know what kind of job you have.
Do not take longer breaks than you are allowed - bosses do notice.
Be responsible for your work - don't expect someone else to do it.
If there is learning you can do on the job - ask your boss about taking the courses - it will show you are willing to improve.

Be the best possible person you can be and work to be one of the best at your job.

Case in point, me. My boss does not even have close to my skills so I am pretty much autonomous in the performance of my job. I usually answer directly to my bosses boss. It is a question of building your skills (weather or not your boss likes you. I'm not disrespectful at all but I am confident in what I do and will not hesitate to implement what needs to be done whether I have an opportunity to tell him about it or not.

STOP! Don't do it it is not worth it!

You may have feelings for him but the truth of the matter is if you did see him when, not if he decides to break it off you are going to be out of a job, and don't expect a good reference. I know exactly what I am talking about. I have seen it happen to several of my closer friends and it always turns out the same.

There is nothing worse than breaking up, unless the next words are "Your Fired!"

Find someone else and keep a roof over your head!

Without knowing a thing about your boss its hard to say. Does he like flowers?

Just do your job, be innovative and show an ability to be self motivated. Dont just do what your asked, do that and go above and beyond.

The best thing you could ever do is be yourself and don't try to be someone your not, it will eventually be uncomfortable. Just work to the best of your abilities, don't get too much in his face or he will get sick of you quickly. Smile, but be mysterious(like don't say much) men like that sort of stuff. Don't try too hard.
