If this confrontation between Hezbollah and Israelis stops and somehow leads to a peaceful ,dignified, secular, negotiated political, solution between the Arab-Palestinians, that have a right to return to the land controlled by Israel, and the Jews that currently arrogantly run the Israeli Government, then maybe, in that sense, the current tragedy might be turned into something with some good. If however, neither side settles down,& the morally indefensible killing of innocents on both sides continues, neither side deserves the support of the rest of the world which is sick and tired of the endless cycle of violence and vengeance in the Middle East. The only people currently deserving the support of the world and of the UN is Lebanon which has been trying to re-emerge to become the Paris of the Levantine Coast from the last times it was destroyed by the MidEast problem.

They'll be declared victorious no matter what the outcome. That's just the way they think over there. After the first Gulf War, Saddam declared victory. They have done better than expected but they can't win. They will fight on as long as they believe they can do damage without being suicidal. They want to live to fight another day.
Politically, they have no desire to live in peace with Israel. You can bet on this: Hezbollah is waiting for Iran to get the bomb. Iran will arm Hezbollah with the bomb. All hell is going to break out in the ME if that happens. Israel WILL attack Iran if it believes it is close to having the bomb. But that could start a huge war which the USA would be part of as well.
Hezbollah is like a pesky mosquito that needs a good swatting. But Iran and Syria are much bigger problems to peace and stability in the ME.

The only support Hezbollah receives is from other countries that wish for the destruction of Israel, the United States, and anybody who wishes to have the freedom to think for themselves

yes ofcourse because hizbolla is a legitimate resistance they are not terroresits they are a very organized small army for a small country all they want is to defend their country and free their long time prisoned mates . who ever they are supported by hizbolla is searching for peace on the land of lebanon and this is the sixth time israel invades lebanon and by god they shall be victorius ,and looking at the abilities of each side it is not fair or equal hizbolla doesn't have naval or the air power israel have but they have the will and beleive to die for whats good.

Hizbollah........ tolerant,fair......LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I really like the way Hizbollah USES the civilian population of Lebanon(especially the women and kids). Of course they(Hizbollah) prefer them dead, much better propaganda value that way. Hamas and Hizbollah are a cancer that needs removal....

it is an evil cancer.
denigrating in the eyes of god.
where women are treated like garbage.

nearly all the trouble in the world is due to muslim fanatics
stirring dissention,
calling out in the name of god, but committ murder
and call it martyrdom, when in reality
sending them to hell.

the intent of hezbollah is to create another persian empire
utilizing religion as a way to make it happen.
hezbollah will betray the arabs of the world in an effort to claim
the muslim religion as their own!

We should not care because who does "stand for peace"? - the US - DEFINITELY not, Israel - their "defence forces" have INVADED another country, Iran - NO, Syria - NO

My point is lets stop these little piddly countries from attacking each other and talk
