To start out I am 25 and my sister is 13 going on 14 in a month. Well I got a boyfriend and i finally got the courage to bring him home so he could meet my parents and well when i brought him to meet my parents, my sister told me that she wants him that i couldnt have him and that was really crazy sounding to me well she started one of those two year old tantrums and my mom freaked out She then like a week later went to match.com and made a profile there and said that she was me but she had this half naked picture of her it was so not her but she had all this sexual stuff on the profile and it was really disturbing i then deleted the profile and she made another and another and now she has a 23 year old boyfriend and i am really worried about her i dont know why she is into my aged guys its really wierd i dont know why she does it i really wanna know why because i was like that too and i dont know why so maybe i could get her to like her age guys

Similar to the Oedipus complex that Freud elaborated upon, your sister is perhaps associating herself with men that she feels are older or at least shall I say more mature than herself and relay some sort of image of father. Perhaps in your family environment there is a lack of a fatherly figure, a vaccum which causes your sister to fill the voids in her life with older men who are undoubteldy using her as some kind of sex toy.

Sounds to me like she has the teenage growing bug. Already shopping for Mr. right at the least Mr. right now! But it is the responsibility of an adult to say to the 23 year old "boyfriend" that he is violating the law should he consummate this relationship is only going to get 5-10 in the pen with a profile of a pedophile and we all know how much they like those guys in prison even if tells them he is in love with her they will....... It really is just a phase and after all you weren't the best example now were you, just keep up what your doing and scare off all the adult males how I told you and she will come around but not without a fight. reaper out.............

I've always felt that because women tend to be more emotionally mature than men, that it is smart for women to go for somewhat older guys.
Not like 20 years older, but 5-10 depending. At her age, maybe 5 years older would put her more on the same level with the guy.
Maybe you can learn something from her ;)
However, it does sound like that age difference is overly severe. 14 to 23? Not too healthy in most cases.

This is from an older guy's perspective. Your sister wants some kind of security from older guys (but that's NOT necessary true for all the guys) that most young guys don't have; maturity and maybe financial security. She wants the mature and strong guy who will take care of her or she's just simply following your footsteps. It might be that she doesn't have a lot friends of her age at school. Hopefully, she will grow out of it when she gets older and more mature.

she is emulating you, and wants to be like you and do the things you do, she may not realize that what she is doing could get her into trouble later with the wrong type of guy, pervs, and then that could be devastating. so maybe ask your male friend to be a bit mean to her to turn her off to older guys, and when she is older explain to her that what she was doing was a bit crazy and you did it for her own safety, even if you don't stay with this guy, she still needs to be told or shown that older guys at her age are NOT a good thing,
and make sure to get rid of the BF, perhaps hit on him to show her how it feels, and to let her know that guys of that age are generally opportunists, and tend to use young girls for bad things,

first off report the pedophile immediately.
when the police come to interview her find the good guy and tell him what's up. if he really is the good guy he'll explain some things to her that she has no clue about. then get her into counseling.

its norm to like ppl of this age, age is no problem
but the problem is her creating those profile and putting those kind of pics. she nids counselling
she sounds dam sick and horny to me lehs... maybe u cud tok to her and her BF.. ask her wads her problem why she post those kind of profile.
the age gap is not a prob.. really..
