Hi. I'm looking for a safe, reliable and good volunteer organisation/agency that sends teenagers (from over 18 - below 21) to other countries all over the world (Ecuador, Guatemala, Nepal etc) to do nature conservation projects/teaching programmes?

Any suggestions or recommendations would be welcome. If you've participated on such volunteer stints, post your experience + some advice too. Thanks!

Peace Corps International, The Red Cross, The United Nations Associations of the Americas, Boy Scouts of America and Girl Guides Association. Most of them are what they say: volunteer organizations. I honestly believe that all volunteer associations should be just that--where you volunteer. Other than that, to qualify for the paid positions, you have to have specific academic qualifications. Spend some time on the web. Yes there are people who blog on this site who belong to many international organizations. However, if they listed their functions, they would not be able to blog anymore.

Why don't you stay at home and help our people here, your heart is in the right place, it's NOT a good time to travel abroad.
