Apparently his name isnt Barry Scott, its just a made up name,
Dont know why he has to shout, its one of the cheesiest ads on the TV

I saw that ad last night. What's wrong with that man??
I wonder why the ad agency thought it would be a good idea to make him shout like that. And I wonder if that's his real name.
Imagine if he talks like that all the time. Bet he was no good at cheating in exams!
Whatever the answer, he makes me want to smash up my tv everytime he shouts at me.

He is a computer generated entity.
The ad men inputted all the annoying bits of other celebrities and came up with him.
He is Steve Penk, Davina McCall(Hence the shouting), Shane Richie and Holly Willoughby rolled into one.

I think he's related to a DJ Barry Bethel who was the 'star' of Slim Fast ads several years ago - they both had volume control issues and said their name far too much.
