Ebay is fantastic!
Out of over 1000 transactions both buying and selling I have only ever had 3 problem buyers/sellers.
I doubt if you could buy 1000 items from a shop and not have problems with at least 3 of them.
If you've not tried it get started!

PS It can be a bit addictive at first though LOL

I have both bought and sold on ebay. Just as a hobby not for a living. I know for a fact many people do make a living of it but many also fail. I sell things here and there and then use my profit to buy other things on ebay that I want. Its great for collectors of anything and I have yet to have a problem

eBay is the largest online marketplace and one of the most popular ways to earn an income from home with a PC and internet connection. Selling on eBay is inexpensive and easy to start. Ebay has a number of tools for sellers to maximise sales. These are eBay Pulse, Hot items report, merchandising calendar. By sourcing products at a low price, you can increase your profit. Plenty of people make a living from it. I have bought and sold there, and done well. Your account is safe, unless you reply to the phishing e mails that get sent out in e bays name, and you should sign up for paypal, many people will only pay using paypal, especially if they are buying from a different country. I have sold to America, Australia, Holland, France as well as the UK. There are large number of people with e bay shops, and they sell exclusively on e bay.

Ebay are doing a great job of re-distributing everybody's junk round the world! I use it a lot but please be aware there are NO bargains on Ebay.
Oh yes there are plenty of small businesses making a good living on Ebay. It saves them the hassle and expense of having their own website.

I have bought load's of thing's off e-bay, including a car! Have also sold once, most people are genuine but as with all thing's you have to use common sense & caution. I do think there are bargain's to be had & will continue to search on e-bay whenever I need to buy something.

Over 250,000 people in GB are self employed ebay traders and it is getting bigger and bigger each year. It is the place to make money... lots of money if you find your niche market. Do lots of research first, it is amazing to see what things make the most money... it can be everyday things that you see in the charity shops and car boot sales. Good luck
