Its all rubbish, they had to admit that it was an entertainment program rather than a documentry/fact based program when they were investigated over claims it was faked.
And Derek had to be the biggest faker of them all, his wife used to walk around the locations with a laptop googling for information. And he was proved to be a fake with the whole "kreed kafer" thing (anagram of derek faker)
Have a look at www.badpsychics.com for more on most haunted and Derek
I do a bit of paranormal investigating myself and I can tell you that probably 95% or more of the time we get absolutely nothing happen so for most haunted to get so much happen in one night something is very wrong.
Also, why do they film stuff in daylight then put filters on to make it look like nightvision? Cant they be bothered to stay all night or something?

No, I've watched it a few times, and seen nothing, asbolutely nothing that has convinced me to believe in the supernatural. That Derek Akorah is just a good actor, Yvette is scared of her own shadow and the camera crews keep dropping pens etc ant the most perfect moments. It's a hoax, I'm sure of it.
My mum loves it though. She has to watch the entire programme from start to finish in one go!

used to love it until derek became "overzealous"
He was set up by the paranormal guy Kierron, who created a fake ghost and identity. The crew talked about it within earshot of derek, even the ghosts name was an anagram of names. So to clarify the point the Ghost wasn't even real...nor was the identity and name they set it all up. Lo and behold derek became possesed by that very spirit ........... say no more.

I used to watch it religiously until the media people in charge of it reminded everyone it was an entertainment programme, not a factual one. Also one of the researchers said they had to spice up the episodes occasionally as nothing happened.
So, I still watch it for fun as the acting is quite funny but it's lost it's spark for me.

I used to watch it all the time when it very first came out, but I went off it as they did more shows, each series seemed to have more things "happen" so I'm now not sure how genuine it is....seems like theyare making things up for good viewing.
Shame, I really enjoyed it.
Haven't got UK living now anyway, so I can't watch it anymore.

I don't watch the new episdoes without Derek Acorah in them. When he gets "possessed," I can't stop laughing, especially when Yvette gets in his face and they have a showdown or when other people get hysterically scared of him. A camp classic.
