Your uncle obviously hasn't found the right person yet.
Yes, there is love. Love is not an object to be touched or bought. Love is a feeling that no one else in the world can make you feel, except that special someone you share the same feeling with.
Love is one of the ingredients to a strong marriage.
A marriage is the unselfish act between two people who put the wants, needs, and desires of their spouse ahead of their own and expect NOTHING in return. If both believe this, and practice it, then they will spend many happy years together.
Remember, marriage is being part of a team. There is no score...don't try to keep one.

It sounds like your uncle did not have a lot of luck in the love department. Maybe he never met someone that he could truly get along with or maybe he has had his heart broken. But just because he has not had the opportunity to experience love does not mean that love does not exist. Being in love is the most rewarding feeling in the world and it truly makes life worth living. So go out there and prove him wrong. You will know what love is when you find it :) Good Luck

Love is a choice. It's not going to be continuous "warm fuzzy feelings" for ever and ever.
Lust is a feeling. It is usually temporary. Many people confuse lust with love. Some people get married based on lust, and they tend to get divorced when the lust goes away.
If you chose to love someone and mutually decide that divorce isn't an option (someone once told me that when divorce becomes an option, you've given up on your marriage) love can last. But it has to be a conscious decision on both peoples' part.

Your Uncle needs to be taken out the back, and tried for stupidity. I've been in lust before, and , yes, it's for a quick horizontal tango, I suppose. On the other hand, though, i've also been in love. I can promise you that it's a most rewarding....and painful sensation.

Your uncle should be ashame of himself, telling you there's no such thing as love just because he has been bitten or hurt by it or whatever reasons he had.
There's is such a thing call Love,

The whole intention of your Uncle seems as if he wants to prove that this is only physical relationship that matters and nothing like love exists and thereby seduce you.. BEWARE!!!

Your uncle should be ashamed of himself. He must be a horribly bitter man. Hopefully one day you realize that he is just putting crap into your head.
