Im currently 7 months pregnant with my first child and its like i over react to alot of things. Im so terrified of catching an std that i dont have sex anymore and i push men away from me. One of my best male friends kissed me on my lips (no tongue) and i freaked out for days. And i heard a rumor about my best female friend having an std after she visted my house (and used the restroom) and i freaked out and changed the whole toilet seat top.lol. its like im imagining symptoms when theyre not there.i even wanted to end both friendships. i cant stop thinking about if i could of received an std from either being kissed on the lip (no tongue) or sitting on an infected toilet seat. is that possible? am i over reacting? should i seek medical help? has anyone else experienced the same thoughts?i just dont want anything to go wrong with the baby. serious replys only please.

It's completely normal. You have more hormones raging through your system than when you were in puberty. I overreacted to EVERYTHING while I was pregnant. I got upset a lot. It's normal. Kissing is NOT going to give you an STD. And as long as you clean the toilet seat, it won't either. Hopefully your friends are understanding and realize you're in a fragile state right now, physically and emotionally. Just talk to them, tell them how you're feeling, and tell them that it's mostly because you're pregnant. It is because you're pregnant.

Every woman that's been pregnant will tell you about dozens of times she freaked out for no reason. Like when I was pregnant, I literally broke down into tears, like whailing, because we had creamy peanut butter, and I wanted chunky. :o) It sounds silly, I know, but I was REALLY upset at the time! It happens when you're pregnant. Don't worry, you're not alone, and you'll go back to your original state (almost, anyway) once you have your baby.

Congratulations, and hang in there, you're almost done!

You too are element of the animal kingdom and your instincts enable you comprehend which you fairly choose no element of a dogs around you or your infant. What approximately airborne dirt and dirt or germs? in reality, I actual have been there and that i had great canines! It did pass. although, if mine barked relentlessly, distinctly with a new child interior the homestead, i'd have completed some thing loopy like had their vocal chords bumped off! fortuitously, mine did no longer bark with out reason. Hormones are a humorous element, all women persons react otherwise to them in the time of being pregnant and mothering. I comprehend what you're dealing with, your instincts are telling you, infant FIRST, no longer dogs. you should consistently supply him to a sturdy homestead and somebody who has extra time to paintings with him and destroy him of this barking insanity! i do no longer think of that's merciless in any respect. in reality, in case you're depressing than so is the dogs. this is optimal for the two considered one of you. sturdy success and Take Care

I'm pregnant (34 wks) and yes, I think you're overreacting.

It's understandable to be cautious but unless you plan on putting the baby directly into a plastic bubble, they'll always be stuff that will drive you crazy.

You really will be constantly worrying and not being focused on being the best parent if you go that nuts over everything.

OK, it is normal for you to be worried about having a healthy child, but your mind has gone overboard. you don't have that long left. ask you doctor about these concerns about STDs, I don't think what you are thinking is possible. just enjoy pregnancy while you have it and then your baby, then if something comes up deal with it then. you don't need this kind of stress right now.

Calm down!

You can't get an STD from kissing (That's why it's called a sexually transmitted disease, not a kissing disease, that's Mono).

You can't get an STD from a toilet seat as well.

Your baby is going to be just fine if Mommy would calm down and cool her jets. :)
