I saw something on tv where someone did that and i remembered 2 years ago someone doing that in the US. Just want to see what you might do, i think id wait for help.

It's been known to happen. You never know what you'd do until you're faced with that situation. I don't think I could do it, but if I were ever in that situation, who knows!

Hmmmm...I'd analyze the situation carefully, but if I expected no help to appear--I'd most certainly cut off my arm. Well, if I actually had a knife that would cut through an arm, which is doubtful.

I would never cut my arms off I would wait till some one pass by or comes even if it has to be a thousand years

Yep, saw it. Poor guy had little choice if he wanted to live. Would I have done it? It's hard to say. I'd have probably waited a bit longer for rescue then done it, if necessary. Either way, a situation no one would want to confront.
Personally, even if it meant salvation, I'd have a hard time slicing and dicing my own flesh. He's fortunate to be alive today.

You'd lose your arm either way, so as long as I have strength in my body I would try to pull my hands from underneath the rock until I get my arm free.

Yeah, I remember hearing that story on the news. Would I do it? I will probably do it if it was the only way of surviving after seeing that no help would be coming for me, but hey you never know until your in that situation.

i'd spit on my arm until it slipped out!
that would suck if you actually cut it off and like 20 seconds later someone drove by the exact rock that trapped your arm and your lying there dead from blood loss.

it all depends on the situation...if it's just a small rock, i'll try to remove the rock to free my arm...but if there's this huge rock crushing my arm and my arm is completely destroyed, i'll have to amputate my own arms to save my body and life.

That was on an episode of Dateline NBC. I think it's safer to be a couch potato than an overly-adventurous repeller.

I say that too that cat had onions the size of the moon could I wow don't know hopefully I'll never find out
