mt everest base camp, north face, tibet, china, october 2002, 5200m above sea level, so cold my teeth were aching
beautiful day though no clouds, great plume of ice/snow blowing off the top

Mt Whitney 14, 498'. A college buddy and I are currently trying to summit all the 14ers in Colorado. We've climbed about 20 of them , with 34 to go.

Um... Highest Mountain, Pike's Peak - 14,000 feet.
Highest building, the Sears Tower: height - I have no idea (don't remember)
Etc. - Jumped out of an airplane at 13,000 feet.

I'm assuming that airplanes don't count :-)
The highest I have been is when I hiked to the top of Mauna Loa (Hawaii) 13,681 feet

I went to Machu Pichu in Peru and I think it was 13000-14000 feet above sea level, flying I have been to 30,000 feet
