Lots of us looking for something better than pizza delivery. Jobs aren't what they were a few years ago despite what Fox News tells us. Hang in there. Times are a'changin'.

It seems to me tt u r asking a bit too much. Nowadays employers look at yr qualification experience, salary and yr age. Sorry to said tt if I am a employer, I wouldn't be able to pay u the pay of 2.5k per month when u dun want to take minutes but doing reception job. There are younger ppl who is willing to work at your post at a lower pay. Every employer will compare this as one of the factors when considering the application of the applicant. If u have other skill u can try switching job but u have to expect tt the pay is not what u requested. Please dun forget tt the living cost is very high in Singapore, U have to find a job to support yourself before u run into financial problems.

Man, I want to work where you do! 2.4K for secretary work! Here in Indiana you are not getting half that for your job!
Maybe you should not focus on money as much as finding something you would like to do. Right now you are making nothing, so finding something that pays less that is different would be worth trying at least.

I am between jobs... I was making 4k a month and things just fell apart. I can easily get another job at close to the same pay, but for some reason I am stuck in the middle mentally, trying to figure out what went wrong and how to fix it. I am 25 years old.

I believe part of your problem is your focus on income rather than on self-development and awareness. Employers are looking for people who have original ideas and have a clue about where they are going. You need a plan, possibly more education/training, a broadening of interests, and some spirit.

You have to lower yourself, because nowadays in Singapore the society is very competitive not only in jobs , also in business. Just grab and hold on to one job and work it up or wait for oppunity for another job. bear in mind, living cost is very high, cannot sit around and pass your time like that.
