Sure, my FSIQ is 150, above the 99th percentile. With a 95% confidence interval, it could be anywhere between 139 and 154. Its in the Very Superior range. Now how do you know that's true? Don't I sound like I'm boasting? Don't I sound arrogant?
Now what if I said my FSIQ is 79, in the 8th percentile? With a 95% confidence interval, it could be anywhere between 75 and 85. Its in the Borderline range. Would you form preconceived notions about me? Insult me and call me stupid whenever I ask or answer a question? Ignore me?
Is it going to be a Yahoo-sanctioned IQ test? You can't answer or ask questions until you taken an IQ test (over the internet, how valid is that?)? What's the cut-off score? Do you have to have an IQ of 86 or higher? 100 or higher? Will some people pay others to take their Yahoo IQ test, just so they can have the privilege to play with the "smart kids"? Will Yahoo have to implement the same security measures as the SATs and GREs with finger printing, pictures, and signatures?
I personally think its a way for people with higher IQs to make themselves feel better, being at the higher end of the bell curve, while people with average IQ and lower IQs cower in the corner. I also think it will make people ignore people with lower IQs, no matter how insightful they may be. Its discriminatory.
If you are intelligent, people will know it, based upon your responses. Going around saying that you have an IQ of 150 is just bragging.
I do not have an opinion on Emotional Intelligence. Its just another way of classifying and ranking people. Just a number, a way to make some people feel bad and others feel superior. I use IQ and personality assessment for diagnostic purposes. Not for ego. Not for ranking purposes.

For what reason should we so this? Just because someone has a high IQ, does not mean they have any sense, common or otherwise. They could be a raving lunatic. In fact, people with schizophrenia, on average, have higher IQs than the rest of us. I site a former boyfriend as am example of what I mean. He was brilliant, passed a Calculus course without opening the book. He had the emotional level of a 3-year old, pouting if he did not get his way. He took an uncle with him to buy his first car, not to give the uncle the pleasure of seeing his nephew grown up, and making his first big purchase, but to pick out the car for him, he had no clue what car he wanted or needed. They bought a burnt-orange 2-door Chevy Nova. Need I comment on the uncle's intellect?
And by what system do you plan to rate emotional intellegence?
And again, why do you want to do this? Will you do through the answers to your question, and delete any that are not written by a person of your emotional or intellectual status? How will you screen the fibbers from the truth tellers? Personally, I think this Answers system is the one I like. The idea is to find help for yourself, and help others. If someone seems to have a lower IQ than my IQ, , I will still answer their question. Makes us both smarter.
If you are so smart, why are you here in Answers? Why aren't you on the Mensa website, with the rest of the geniuses? Slumming?
Have a little compassion for those who think differently than you do.
Sorry to sound mean, but I can't stand snobbery.

Ditto psychgrad's answer above...
It's disappointing that the four year honor's program that you are still in the process of completing hasn't helped you distinguish between operational definitions and an underlying concept. You no doubt are intelligent, however, IQ and EI are proxies for intelligence. Concepts are human constructs, and for the most part real, yet imaginary. The IQ test as I understand has the most convergent replications done of any psych instrument, yet it is not itself intelligence. Neither is EI. They are still just proxies that for the most part have demonstrated strong but not absolute correlation with things like problem solving, abstractions and the like. Some might say that finding someone with a demonstrated need to show a high IQ and EI to absolute strangers is also a proxy for some element of intelligence.

The summation of psychgrad's frustration over the claim that you are a psychologist is that your self interested intention is to extol the legitimacy of a psychologist's knowledge and standard of ethics on a person who is demostrating neither.

Yeah. Sure and how reliable would that be. The IQ test is an inadequate way to express intelligence. There should however be a club for people who disagree and tote around their IQ score like it's the only mark of significance in their life. They can be part of the same club as the jocks that brag about how much they can bench.

IQ 167
Bench 120

Being smart is like being tall or handsome, it is helpful with life, but does not make you a better person, nor does it validate your opinion by itself.

Experience, empathy and pragmatism all count towards creating opinions that matter.

Spouting a fact without context is pointless and unrelated to intelligence.

Finally, there is nothing to compel people to tell the truth regarding their IQ's

properly you used the word "why can no longer non secular human beings" that could be taken 2 techniques. one million. you're asking why their doctrine does not enable killing animals. or 2. you're complaining that they do no longer seem to be bodily able to no longer kill. the 1st one is effective, the 2d can come off very disrespectful. could you go with for somebody to ask why you're no longer waiting to kill (in spite of in spite of in case you do or no longer)? i did no longer think of so. each and every person is somewhat gentle approximately their faith. surely that question is poorly written grammatically to boot, so that's no longer very clean what you're asking devoid of analyzing it dissimilar situations. i could propose which you rephrase the question, perhaps some thing like this: "Why do you think of that throughout lots of faiths that's okay to kill and consume animals. Religiously speaking do you think of that's cruel to kill and consume animals? could your opinion exchange if killing and ingesting animals exchange into performed throughout a non secular trip."

No, for three reasons at least.
One, not everyone knows their IQ.
Two, not everyone is proud of or should be of their IQ.
Three, it's not necessary. We can estimate your intelligence
by the quality or seriousness of your answers.
