I agree. It'is only because Hollywood hates him for doing his own thing. As if any of them have any morals...

EXACTLY! I mean he's only a man. It seems they could focus on alot more pressing issues other than his being drunk and letting a few obsenities fly. And for anyone who says that "alcohol only loosens the tounge", it's obvious they have never been REALLY affected by its bite and sting. Alcohol causes the brain to act and react to things COMPLETELY different than one normally would. It's drama man, everyone lives for drama these days. It's glorified on tv in all these reality shows, daytime soaps, and talk shows, and the fact of the matter is that people LOVE drama these days. If he were Robert Downey Jr., then there would be some coverage but not NEAR as much. I'm with ya bro., Peace.

Yeah, but the average Catholic didn't make a movie called "The Passion of the Christ" whereupon thousands of Americans inferred some kind of religious morality from your narrative.
Now me, personally, as a non-religious person, I'm not really that concerend about what I consider MGs personal problems. But to be honest, he's made his bed and he's slept in it. He made religion his stock in trade, and he deserves to be held up by that standard. That's all I have to say on the subject.

wow, some people can really miss the point; nobody gives a damn about his getting drunk, I think it was really more about the ANTI-SEMITIC DIATRIBE than anything else. And by the way, alcohol does not exactly put words in people's mouths. Alcohol merely loosens the tongue, especially that of a fool.

That's because he's a celebrity and plus the fact he said some statements that were anti-jew I think. Even the Passion was anti-jew from my point of view because he directed it and it showed how the jews tortured and crucified Jesus so graphically it was offensive to them.

All it is is a way to attack someone with different opinions. Ever since Passion of the Christ people of opposite opinions look for reasons to attack. Same on the other side, people with different political opinions of Dixie Chicks looks for any reason to bash them. I"m one. lol

I don't care if he got drunk, but he shouldn't have been driving...he could've killed someone. As far as the remarks he made....love him or hate him for it, but just stop talking about him!!! I think it's time the media moved on to someone else!
