No you can't get rid of it. Unless you go throught menopause (you got a long time to wait for that) or have all your female parts taken out (that's a serious surgery for health reason only). Honey just get use to it, none of us like it but it's part of being a woman.

Now birth control can regulate it and make it only last 2 - 4 days depending on what birth control you are on. The depot shot can cause your period to stop.....although that isn't a gaurantee, it effects everyone differently. I think you're just frustrated, but like I said it's part of being a woman.....I'm sure we all wished we didn't have one.

most girls hate their periods..... we all go through that "cant wait to get one" time cause we think it means we are finally growing up, then we get them and feel like we've been cursed! lol
look... periods are necessary.... they are part of the "grand design" no matter how much we hate them...
you might as well get used to them.... your gonna have them until in your forties or fifties as long as you remain healthy...
and some even into their sixties...
anyhow... birth control will help to regulate them, and lighten them so they arent as heavy, and dont last as long...say three days of light flow or spotting versus 7 days of heavy flow and cramping...
but you don't want to stop having cycles.... even scientifically... in the long run it'll mess you up. having a cycle means more than just not being pregnant...
think on that awhile...
be grateful you're a girl...
look closely the the alternatives!

that 4 times a year product should be OK. please do not use Depo Provera, my sister in law was using it for 8or 9 years. she is now having problems with her ovaries because she did not ovulate for all of those years. They are telling her she may not be able to have children. and she has been in alot of pain. her family are very fertile and healthy people. a period is something women deal with. use the seasonale, it sounds like a better choice.

Yes, it is possible. I'm on birth control to stop my period right now. Seasonale only makes it come 4 times a year.
It's wonderful!
Life is so much easier, and enjoyable for me without my period. Trust me, you'll love it. No cramps, and symptoms! Only 4 times a year!

They also have other options to stop your period for a while. Ask your doctor.

You can also have your uterus removed to stop your period, but that's crazy unless you need to have it removed for serious reasons.

Good luck!

Periods are a sign of your good and healthy body. and this also helps to get pregnant. So dont ever even try any foolish things for that. Try to have a Boyfriend, who can take care of you, while you have periods and try to share your sorrows.
