Okay, so I ordered and HIV test on Ebay, but I don't want my parents to know. But, tomorrow I'm going to a theme park with my sister and dad and we will be back late. My mom will be home, and she might get the test...what will she think? Should I write a note to the mailman to save it, or to put it behind a garbage can, under a box, etc? If they find it, I can play it off and be like "Ahh man! They messed up my order, I ordered a video game and he gave me an HIV test!"

If you stepped on a needle at the age of 5, and you sound like you're at least 16 years of age, I highly doubt that you have AIDS- if you did, it would be a miracle because the average AIDS infected person lives 2 years on the average between being infected and dying.
And maybe this is a good thing for your Mom and Dad to see anyway ya know? It shows them you're mature and thinking- and its a good way for you to realize that you need to keep to a monogamous relationship ok?

The test should be packaged so a person would not be able to tell what is inside. Does your mom open your mail? If that's the case, maybe have a friend wait around the time the mailman comes and intervene. Could tell your mom not to open the package (if that's what she does) because it's a gift for a friend or relative and it is personal, or say you bought a friend the HIV test as a joke. ???

why did you order an HIV test in the first place? Don't you have planned parenthood where you live? You can tell your parents that you were worried about yourself and they might let it go but otherwise your in a load of ****.

Geez, if you are old enough to have sex and to take the adult responsibility of getting yourself tested, then you should be straight with your mom if she gets it. Just say I need to get a test, would you rather I didn't know and passed it on.

why did you get it on eBay. you should have gone to the free clinic to get it. if you think you have HIV you are going to need there help so tell the Truth.

The package shouldn't have the contents on the outer label. Unless you think your mom will open it, you should be ok. It's a privacy thing, I don't think legally they can do that.
