Within the Christian context, there is a time where Jesus comes back to earth to stop everything. This would be when he would stand on his Altar and stops all other offerings. But before that the holy land of his birth and his domination will be war and fights. After Jesus comes back, there will be nothing left and then there would be a new earth formed. Which means that in the end all will die together.

Buddhist aspect, there would not be an end of the world which means people would still go through the Samsara which is the reincarnation thus we will die alone.

This question is phrased such that there are so many possibilities and sides to the questions, thus it depends on what you are talking about.

Yeah, I'm afraid so.....

It doesn't matter if we go on the Titanic or Flight 93, when the rubber hits the road, we all die alone.

Like birth, its an intensely private, personal and individual experience.

There is no evidence whatsoever of any "collective" death experience, in fact everything points to a rather lonely, personal exit.

This may NOT be a bad thing, only time will tell..................

Yes we do. Even if there is several that die at the same time and others are around you it still is your death and not another that affects you. From what I have observed at the time of death it does not appear that the person is aware or it. Some know they are going to die but at the moment of death I doubt if they know. When you go to sleep you are asleep alone with yourself even lying next another.

Death is actally a stage when soul leaves out from a physical body. It is the body who dies and not the Soul. It is very much true that a lot of souls leave their present bodies at the same time as a lot of children are born in this world together at a time, but at different places in the world.
It may be there that a lot of deaths can be there at the same time, but we have to die alone.

I never thought
I'd die alone
I laughed the loudest who'd have known?
I traced the cord back to the wall.
No wonder it was never plugged in at all.
I took my time.
I hurried up.
The choice was mine I didn't think enough.
I'm too depressed
To go on.
You'll be sorry when I'm gone.

....hmmmmmm.....oh right, the question. uh....I dont think so, no. some ppl have friends or family or fellow soldiers with them when they die. there not alone. and then some of them get into heaven and then there not alone.

Through life, each of us is an island unto himself.

Death is highly personal and is a part of the same existence as life.

The pattern suggests that we do each and every one of us die alone.

a tricky question...

in cases of tragedies... NO..

in sickness or illness, YES...

in reality, what do you really mean? it's as if no man has someone as his companion...

death doesn't necessarily mean the end of your journey. if we believe in heaven and hell, thence the spirit moves on as alive as before.... herein he finds his long gone friends and relatives as alive and weel as before...

come to think of it, what is death? eventually, it's a journey to somewhere out there, to where, nobody knows, only assumes....

hence do we die alone? well, yes and no....

Ya. We are our own individual self.
unless you are a Siamese twin otherwise there is no reason one cannot die alone.
