We live in a capitalist society & the person walking around in the street is seen as a commodity stuffed full of cash. The human aspect is irrelevant. The aim of these sites is to extract as much cash as possible regardless of the cost to the individual. Empathy & feelings do not come into the capitalist way unless there is a cash value. It is business & the lobbying will only even allow for minor regulation. Remember, we as individuals, want choice. We want to choose how we are going to be ripped off. .
