Tips on writing your resume.

Since you have a very limiting educational background & education, I would suggest you give highlight of your skills. You need to figure out what skills and capabilities a receptionist require and what sort of duties they perform and highlight how best you can be able to undertake the assignments given. You are a bright and ambitious lady and have cleared high school at 16 is an accomplishment too. List all the awards, responsibilites and activities you took at school and how this have help you grow.

Interview tips. I have learnt that you should best dress in dark colours when going for an interview particulary grey, grown, black and blue. If you are wearing a blouse or shirt, it should be either white or baige. When you arrive at the interview, give the interviewee a frim handshake, look them into their eyes (a trick, if you cannot look them in their eyes stare at their nose, they will think you are actually looking at their eyes). Do not under any circumstance carry a purse or have your certificate in a brown envelope, instead invest in a good briefcase which can fit all your commodities. When you stand, have your hands at the back and when put your hands together on your lap as thou in a praying mode. It exhibits confidence.

Remember to find out all you can about the firm in order to be able to ask most questions in indepth. Do not summarise answers instead have a mock interview with your family and friend and when at the interview let the answer flow naturally. Good luck

if you are from the Philippines, it is impossible to get a job at the age of 16. the labor code of the philippines does not allow employment of minors unless it's for wholesome entertainment and if they are engaged in family business, in that case, they need to secure a working child's permit. and also, companies prefer applicants who have attained at least 2nd year in college. if you are not from the philippines, and your country allows 16year olds to work, all you have to do is have confidence in yourself, learn how to present your self and your strengths to your would-be employer
