the worm atached in my system is spybot. any one has any idea abt what it does. is it harmful to my system.

hi, worm is a kind of virus. both worm and virus can slow your computer, steal your password, Credit number, and control your computer.
i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can disable all virus to run, because the virus can only run on IE.
besides, firefox can block any any poppus and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE. as you know, most of the virus is spread throught internet and webpage.
firefox is much smaller than IE, so i run faster than IE.

A worm multplies itself on your system. Eventually you will become a host for that worm. Go to
free.grisoft.com and download both scanners. They are free. Great tools. Good luck.
BTW run them in safe mode to get the best results

They are all similar. They usually try to manipulate your system and/or gather information about you from your system. Spy = Spy, Bot = Robot, in simple terms its a program that's spying on you by collecting your info from your computer. Download a good antivirus and spyware remover. I sugegst the following:

AVG
Spyware remover:
Spyware Blaster
