What does your bible say?
He never really mentions music in the law of laws but he does say that you cannot serve two masters and its either him or the other right?

"Make a joyful noise unto the Lord' means exactly that.
Great and beautiful music doesn't have to contain the words Lord or God or Jesus to be appreciated even by God Himself.
Most of the great composers, from Beethoven to Liszt, wrote music inspired by their gift of music. Listen to Beethoven's Ninth (The Ode To Joy) sometimes. Most of this music didn't even include lyrics.
Any music you write that has some moral point of view, some specific idea to get across about values, works fine. Dylan and Springsteen have reached millions of more people than any gospel singing rock band ever will. And if you listen to their music you'll find that most of it deals with moral issues one way or another.

Since God created us good. I think that what we create, like music, is good as well, within boundaries of course. Our music is beautiful to God, because he sees (and hears) how we are using the gifts he has given us. I hate the term "Christian" music. All music is Christian, without God, we could not even create it. However in rude, inappropriate songs, God probably thinks, "Wow, (U2, Nelly, Jars of Clay), that music is beautiful, but what you are singing is not pleasing to me"

While I do not profess to be a Christian, I do seem to remember hearing a Bible passage that say's, "Make a cheerful noise unto theLord". So if this be true, God, whatever or whomever you percieve him to be, would most likely love all music.

Well, it seems like you think you know what God wants. :/
I imagine since he hasn't voiced any objections yet, that He understands people's need to create and/or vent so even though we may not like "bad" songs (personally, I hate rap with a bunch of swear words) I guess He's okay with it. :)

Yeah, you know...God loves all that music about worshiping Satan and chowing down on aborted fetuses. I heard his favorite band is GWAR.

I think he may love it. He has not cause anyone to die for playing it.
