Are ghosts real?

have you had an encounter with a ghost?do you beleive in ghosts?and why?

I have not had any significant encounters myself, but I believe in them wholeheartedly. There are simply things beyond what we know, and I think it is very ignorant to deny their existence just because most of us are incapable of understanding it or even experiencing it.

My family has had some odd experiences though.

When my grandmother was a young girl, her family shared an old home with several other families in Malaysia. She was out in front of the house one day, and she saw a dark man in a turban come by. She started feeling extremely nervous, and suddenly she realized that the man had no feet - he was just gliding along above the ground.

Decades later, the parents of this grandmother, my great-grandmother and great-grandfather (Lao Ma and Lao Pa) lived in Singapore. Lao Pa was dying of lung cancer, and on his deathbed he made his youngest son promise never to hire strangers to take care of Lao Ma (who at the time was suffering from a fatal brain tumor). Unfortunately the son did not listen and after Lao Pa died, he hired a couple from the market place to move in and take care of Lao Ma. The wife was alone with Lao Ma late one night, sleeping as she waited for her husband to come back from work. She woke up and saw the apparition of Lao Pa in the doorway of the bedroom. He stood there and stared at her before he disappeared. The next day the woman called the rest of my family and told them a burglar had broken in the home last night. When she described him, she was told that it was a spirit. She and her husband moved out after that and my family moved in to take care of Lao Ma.

Lao Ma died soon after, a year or so after my older cousin was born. After her death my cousin (who was 3 or 4) was alone in the living room, and suddenly he went running to find his mother. He told her that Lao Ma was sitting on the sofa and had talked to him. The rest of the family went out to check it out, but no one else saw anything.

I have asked him about this experience and he says he doesn't recall it because he was at such a young age.

Absolutely! They r so real that they r proved by God( in the bible) they r believed to be seen by most highly spirituals in some parts of Ethiopia and Egypt. Since these countries r ancient christians they know the secrets of spirits and know them. But why do u feel that? What is ur religeon? where r u from?
