If I could buy any vehicle I could choose and money was no object, it would definately be, without a doubt, a toyota prius. I would put in extra batteries, solar panners and a recharge kit and it would all work out in under 35k. That's not that expensive at all, plus I would have a car that gets 100+ mpg and last over 1/2 million kilometers without a tune up.

Either kind of Hummer would do. Or a 55 Chevy Bel Air, 2 door hardtop with a 350 crate motor.

well that would depend greatly on how much i had to spend but with rising fuel prises consuption would be a major factor and cost of replacement parts, its no good buying a car that you then cant aford to run.allso some models cost far more to insure this all has to be taken into account, good luck with whatever you purchase.

Toyotas and Hondas are good now. They are good on gas and easy to maintain. Hondas, if they ever happen to have a problem (rare) are so easy to fix without payin big shops. There are a million people who could work on those, especially street tuners. They have helped me on my 3 Hondas and they all run A+, and two of them have over 200.000 miles on them
