if you were 3 weeks pg and you had a miscarrage would you have to be put in the hospital?? to have the miscarriage?

Nah i wouldn't worry to much about going intot he hospital if there wasn't excessive bleeding. At that at three weeks i dont think you would have noticed you were pregnant unless you took a test or missed your period. Although if it will help you sleep better at night you might want to just go in for a check up to be sure that that is what it was and not something else. Plus while there you can also ask the doc why you miscarried if that is the case or see what went wrong to prevent it from happening int he future.

No, not unles the woman was bleeding a whole lot. At 3 weeks, the fetus (if it even was one---often early miscarriages happen b/c the fertilized egg turned into a blob or was genetically messed up.

I had a miscarriage at three weeks,i called up my doc when i saw the blood,and calmly left for the hospital.
i was not bleeding much,it was just like periods.The doc advised a clean up of the uterus,which was over in half a day,and by evening i was home.
Nothing,to worry,just call the doc when such a thing happens.:)

You shouldn't have to be hospitalized, no. Also at 3 weeks, most people don't even know they are pregnant.
