Take the highest chem and bio and math classes your school offers, study hard and get good grades, apply for as many scholarships as you are eligible for, take both the SAT and ACT as soon as you can (you're running out of time with those), and write good essays to help you get a wider choice of colleges.

So the way I understand it at Oregon State which is where I went to school, student interested in pharmacy actually apply to the program when they enroll in school. They enter pre pharm courses at the university with all the other students, with pharmacy seminar classes interspersed. Their last 4 years then are totally within the school of pharmacy.

If you are planning on going to West coast school, take the SAT and don't bother with the ACT. Vice Versa for the East Coast.

the best way to find out exactly what to do would be to call or go to your local pharmacy and ask the druggest there..
i know you have to have algebra, chemistry and biology....
some of the drug store chains like CVS or Walgreens will help you through school... providing you work for them of course...
contact the pharmicist at the one closest to you, or even the store manager... they can tell you what to do..

Be sure that you take chemistry in high school. If your school does not offer it then i would suggest taking all of the science courses that you can. your going to need to know alot of conversions and different chemicals. The best course that you can take in high school is chemistry.
