I'm thinking about getting one this weekend. Not one of the prepaid ones, but one where you sign a contract. I've checked prices and they seem to be cheapest. Just curious about others input.

I have a T-mobile phone; and have been with T-mobile for at least two years. My fiance has Sprint and I noticed that I get a lot more minutes at a cheaper rate, the phones ARE cheaper, and you get WAY better upgrades than anybody else. Also, I travel all over the country and I can say that I have never had a problem with poor signal; in fact, as my fiance were driving through the mountains just outside of Las Vegas, Nevada, when she lost her signal I still had mine. I hope this reply helps you to determine which carrier you choose for wireless communications.

It's all the same: I had AT&T which switched to Cingular, and for work I have Sprint. The service is never perfect everywhere, so when one has it the other can lose it and vice versa. Even between phones the call clarity and reception varies, so don't worry about service as your #1 factor. However, if all your friends have Cingular/Verizon/T-Mobile/Sprint and you can call all of them for free all the time by being on the same network, go with that.

Otherwise I suggest you just find a phone you like and go with the company that has that phone. Saving $5 a month and being stuck with a lame phone that you cannot upgrade later is dumb.

Depends on where you live. I used to own a cell phone store and we had problems with cingular. I currently have t mobile, sprint and cricket. Cricket is the best for the money...unlimited minutes to anywhere in the us for like 50. a month...But you have to buy special minutes if you plan in traveling out of your service area. Sprint is good because you can get your nights and weekends to start at 6. Tmobile is ok. Alltel has unlimited for 99 a month....thats also good....Do internet browsing and stay away form the Little stores. They have a mark up with accesories. Stick to the corporate stores. Get your accesories at Target or Walmart ....A car charger at target was 10.00 at the tmobile store it was 29. You know how much we used to pay for them.....59 cents...lol We would sell then for 20. rip off

i have had cingular, sprint, & t-mobile and i worked with verizon customer care

i personally would say go w/ t-mobile but it has alot to do with the area u live in, t-mobile has the cheapest plans and is best with equipment becuase u can basically upgrade at any time.

also they share towers with cingular so u get coverage where cingular has coverage.

Don't go with T Mobile. Go with Cingular or Verizon. Much better.

T-Mobile definitely gives you the most minutes for your money. They also offer many cool phones for free. Like you can get the motorola razr for free with bonus bluetooth headset. I got mine from this place: http://www.selectivemobile.com/t-mobile_phones.asp?aid=yh&ref=tmobile You should definitely check the site out before you buy it from other stores. They got the best deals on the Internet.
