The first movie to have a synchronized sound track was Fritz Lang's Siegfried in 1925, with a musical score but no dialogue. The Jazz Singer, released in 1927, featured Al Jolson singing a few songs. When the first all-talking film, Lights of New York, was released in 1928, the talkies had really arrived. Lights of New York is the film you're wondering about.

not sure if you mean full length feature, but it could be
the jazz singer in 1927...

or, you know, not.

there was another film before that which only had one spoken word in it, but i'll never think of the name or the studio that released it.
